A LUT (Lookup Table) if explained in simple words is a file used in post-production to color grade a footage for a cinematic look.
LUTs works great with LOG footage. Shooting in LOG mode is a special way of capturing that maximizes the tonal range of a sensor. When LOG mode is activated on a camera, the image becomes flat and desaturated.
Using LUTs to color grade a LOG footage is a much easier task then adjusting with the curves and other color settings, especially with our 100+ LUTs pack, you get plenty of different cinematic styles to choose from.
